Anushka Sharma

Anushka is an actress and producer from Bollywood. She has won many acting awards and is one of the most well-paid actors. In addition, she is an ambassador for several brands, and she has her own clothing line for women which is known as Nush. Her work has also earned her presence in Forbes Magazine. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya located in Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father, a former colonel was Anushka. and her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka's elder brother, served as an Merchant Navy officer and is an upcoming film director. Anushka has finished her education at Army School Bangalore. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. Anushka Sharma is a graduate with a Master's degree in Economics. Anushka has always wanted to be either an actress or journalist but never an actor. Anushka relocated to Mumbai after she completed her degree and enrolled herself at the Elite Model Management, and was coached by the stylist Prasad Bidapa. In 2017, Anushka made her modelling debut for the designer Wendell Rodricks's Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was picked by Rodricks to be the finale model at The Spring-Summer 2007 collection. Her modeling career started at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Since then, she has been involved in numerous campaigns, which include campaigns for Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka took an acting class before beginning to audition for film roles alongside her modelling career. Anushka Sharma's acting debut was in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka Sharma took her time to get ready and did not attempt the test on her own. Then she was signed to three films under the Yash Raj Films banner. She portrayed an unwed bride and tied to a man in middle in age (the role that Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's "Badmash Company" with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The movie received mixed praises. Anushka was also seen alongside Ranveer in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat', in which she played the role of a Punjabi middle class woman who started her own business. The movie received a great reception and was later a sleeper. Anushka's contract for three movies under Yash Raj Films was completed with the Band Baaja Baraat.
